Meet our team

Vince is the co-founder and CEO of Dot Square Lab, steering the company and overseeing the full spectrum of AI research, from pilot feasibility studies to the management and deployment of large-scale machine learning solutions, ensuring innovation and delivery at every turn. From January 2019 to January 2022, Vince operated as a freelance AI Consultant, and collaborated with a diverse array of clients across various industries. Prior to his consultancy, from June 2017 to January 2019, he was a Machine Learning Engineer at Cambridge Consultants. In this role, he was instrumental in refining algorithms and crafting deep learning models derived from cutting-edge academic research. Vince served as an Application Support Engineer at MathWorks from October 2016 to June 2017, and as Robotics Intern at DroneX in 2016. Vince is finalizing his Ph.D. in AI at City, University of London, specializing in Reinforcement Learning. He also holds an 
MSc in Robotics from the University of Bristol and a BSc in Mechatronics from the University of Southern Denmark.

Michaël is the co-founder and CTO of Dot Square Lab. He is responsible for the Research and Development work delivered to the clients. From July 2019 to September 2023, Michaël served as a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence at City, University of London, where he contributed to the academic field and delivered AI lectures at graduate level. During his tenure, he led several research projects, and won a DSTL grant to pursue work related to the emergence of intelligent behaviors in autonomous agents. Prior to his lecturing role, he was a Senior Researcher at SoftBank Robotics Europe from October 2013 to May 2019, focusing on unsupervised learning and developmental robotics to foster child-like cognitive development in robots. Before joining SoftBank, Michaël completed a Post-doctoral project at ENSTA Paris from November 2012 to September 2013, where he focused on pedestrian detection and tracking. His work in AI began with his Ph.D. studies at Honda Research Institute EU from 2009 to 2012, focusing on driver behavior prediction for intelligent vehicles.

Laerte is a Machine Learning Engineer at Dot Square Lab since October 2023, where he applies cutting-edge AI technologies to solve industry challenges. This role follows his recent graduation from City, University of London with an MS in Artificial Intelligence, where he deepened his expertise in AI trends and methodologies. Prior to his current position, Laerte was a Business Analyst at Deloitte in Milan from July 2021 to August 2022, where he was instrumental in implementing integrated business solutions in large organizations, enhancing operational value through technological innovation. Before Deloitte, he served as a Software Engineer at Accenture for seven months, developing Robotic Process Automation solutions across various sectors, showcasing his ability to navigate client-oriented and challenging innovation environments. Laerte holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in partnership with École Centrale de Lyon and University of Surrey, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Elisa is a Machine Learning Engineer at Dot Square Lab since March 2024, where she tailors the latest AI technologies to provide customized solutions across a wide range of industries. 
She recently graduated from City, University of London with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, refining her skills in natural language processing, computer vision, and generative AI. Prior to her master's degree, Elisa earned her BSc in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, equipping her with a solid foundation in software engineering and computer science. Elisa has undertaken various projects exploring different areas of generative AI, including music synthesis, composition, and image generation. Additionally, she has previously worked on NLP projects such as translation.

Parth Patel is a Machine Learning Engineer at Dot Square Lab since September 2024, where he uses his strong technical skills to develop customized solutions across various industries. He has recently completed his MSc in Statistics at Imperial College London, during which he developed his skills in statistics, data science, deep learning and more. Prior to his master's degree, Parth earned his BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bristol, equipping him with both the theoretical and practical expertise in data science and software engineering. One of his notable achievements during his MSc was securing first place in a Data Science challenge at Imperial College London, highlighting his proficiency in solving complex real-world problems. Parth has worked on a range of projects such as image generation and detection, and in audio generation also. Furthermore, he completed an internship at Natwest, that granted him further insights into the Fintech domain and applications of NLP in production environments.

Peter is an Advisor for Dot Square Lab, contributing to projects on sustainability and finance. He is the Director at Valinor Consulting and a Quant & Sustainability Consultant since September 2023, where he combines his financial expertise with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. He is a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) with a background in biology and physics. Before his current roles, Peter was Vice President at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong from January 2021 to September 2023. There, he achieved remarkable success by building and managing a machine learning-based SecLending trading engine. Prior to his vice presidency, Peter contributed to Morgan Stanley as an Equities Strat from July 2016 to January 2021, and as a Strat Intern from November 2015 to July 2016, where he focused on product development.

Zoltán is Head of Operations at Dot Square Lab since January 2023. Alongside, he leads lizardprojects, a marketing agency he founded in December 2019. Before joining Dot Square Lab, Zoltán had primarily worked in marketing, along with roles in sales and project and business management, across various sectors. His experience spans both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as multinational companies, bringing a wide-ranging perspective to Dot Square Lab. In addition to this, Zoltán has significant experience in the construction industry. He worked at HILTI, where he achieved notable success in sales and gained invaluable insights into the building industry on field. Zoltán is also a certified sound engineering and music production. He has successfully managed 100+ multilingual conferences, as well as small and large-scale concerts, demonstrating his comprehensive management abilities. His deep knowledge of the audio-video industry has provided him with significant insights. This expertise further enhances his diverse and robust professional background.

Dominik Toth is a Full stack Engineer at DSL since December 2024, where he primarily creates frontend pages and seamlessly integrates them with backend functionalities. Alongside frontend development, he also contributes to backend tasks, showcasing versatility across the stack. His academic background includes a BSc in Computer Science Engineering from Szechenyi Istvan University of Győr, providing a strong foundation in software design and development. One of his proudest achievements is building an IoT smart watering system enhanced with AI-driven features, demonstrating his ability to innovate and tackle complex challenges.

Zsófia Majorosi is a graphic designer with a Master's degree from Eszterházy Károly University (2021), where she also completed earlier studies in web design (2018). In 2023, she further specialized as a service design expert at MOME Open. Her professional experience spans diverse roles across education, cultural events, and design studios. Since 2023, she has been working as a freelance designer, with a focus on brand identity, and visual communication. Her work demonstrates a consistent engagement with brand identity, design and visual communication. She has an active interest in the visual arts and regularly participates in site-specific art projects and exhibitions.

Attila is a product designer at Dot Square Lab, where he designs intuitive, user-centered digital interfaces that align business goals with real user needs. His work blends creative thinking with structured design practices, ensuring each product is both functional and visually refined. At DSL, he contributes to design strategy, wireframes, and prototypes, always approaching problems with curiosity and a belief that every challenge has a solution. Before DSL, Attila worked on a range of interface and digital experience projects, contributing to both mobile and web platforms. His background in visual arts shaped his ability to craft clean, effective, and expressive designs. He has created user flows, layouts, and design systems that prioritize usability while maintaining aesthetic depth. Comfortable across varied domains, he brings a strong visual intuition and a commitment to clear, human-centered interaction design. Attila holds a BA in Graphic Design from Eszterházy Károly University and an MA in Graphic Design from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME). His training bridges traditional visual arts with contemporary digital design, grounding his practice in both creativity and precision.
